Selkirk Royals Water Polo
water sport fun days & Un-Plug Camps
SCP has been the proud home of the Selkirk Dolphins since 1979. Offering a diverse range of competitive swim programs for kids of all ages and trial camps throughout the year, there's room for everyone on our home team. If you feel the need for speed, check out the Selkirk Dolphins Website.
Royals Live Here! Water polo first came to the Lord Selkirk School Division in 1980, boasting provincial and national success over the years. Our season runs September through December, and swimmers in grades 9-12 are encouraged to try out; no experience necessary. Practices run Monday afternoons and Thursday mornings. For more info, call the pool office at 204-785-7310.
Throughout the year, we offer a variety of water sport fun-days and un-plug camps, allowing kids a chance to try new activities and get active! Fun-days and camps include water polo, diving, synchro, water basketball, underwater hockey, water volleyball, and low organized games like Sharks & Minnows and Freeze Tag! Dates are advertised through divisional newsletters, at the public library, and on our website Home and Facebook pages.
We offer diving camps and clinics through Diving Manitoba, throughout the year. Appropriate for kids and adults of all ages who are comfortable in deep water, and jumping from heights of one to three meters.
